** Placer County was on their heels Wednesday night.
A meeting that usually has an audience of less than 10, were stormed by about 50 and 50 were on zoom. WOWEE. Now that there is community push-back against changing the allowed density, height, and uses; the business community finally showed. The County made sure developers and their minions were represented.

The County couldn’t get the zoom working for the first ½ hour and we almost lost the callers. No IT person, but cops were onsite.

The audience patiently waited while Placer County took an hour and a half of the two hour meeting spewing planning-speak and the usual greenwashing buzzwords. Sustainable Gobbledygook.

Since Placer has failed to provide a plain language summary of all the shotgun changes in the 270 page document. North Tahoe Preservation Alliance will. Stay tuned.
