Three separate appeals have been filed asking the Washoe County Commissioners to reverse the decision by the Board of Adjustment. This is an unusual outcry which speaks to the level of Community concern. In fact, community worries coming out of the hearing are bigger than going in.

One of the many bases for appeal is that RKN’s Boulder Bay is an unknown, undecided and unapproved project. It is unconscionable to immediately give up the Public Right of Way (Wassou west of Reservoir) for up to 5 years without a replacement exit based on these sketchy details.

Thank you for all your support over the last 10+ years. It’s been a long haul. This is why the Public needs to be involved…developers come and go but traffic, safety and evacuation issues remain.
